On Friday 27th July the Advantia Head Office Team headed off to Coventry for a Team Building Day to remember. The motley crew arrived with slight trepidation about what lay ahead, would the new team dynamics work? What would they be expected to do? Would the team be able to do it? Would they still be a team at the end of the day?
We are really pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to our Head Office Team - Steve Carter (Dealer Development Manager), Clare ffolkes (Commercial Project Manager) and Chris Geer (Client Implementation Systems Manager). Steve, Clare and Chris bring skill sets which combined with the existing skills at Advantia will take the Group forward with the new products, services and system offerings we have in the pipeline.
Advantia’s Strategic IT Partner Comgem wins the Technological & Innovative Business of the Year Award in South Wales
Following the South Wales Business of the Year Awards which took place in Cowbridge, South Wales on the 6th June, Advantia Business Solutions are pleased to announce their strategic partners COMGEM were awarded the Technological & Innovative Business of the Year Award for 2018.
On 1st – 2nd June, Advantia member Elliot Batty from BOS will be setting himself the huge challenge of bike riding 145 miles from Barnsley to Amsterdam in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. Elliot successfully raised over £1,800 when he completed the challenge last year and is looking to beat this figure in June.
Following on from an external ISO audit carried out by a Lead Auditor from ACS Registrars Limited, Advantia Business Solutions are pleased to announce they have not only retained their ISO 9001 (Quality), and 14001 (Environmental) accreditations, but have complied fully to the new 2015 standard.
Last year, Advantia member Elliot Batty from BOS did a 145 mile charity bike ride from Barnsley to Amsterdam in aid of Prostate Cancer UK. After successfully completing this journey, Elliot is challenging himself to do the same thing this year on the 1st-2nd of June.
In line with Advantia’s ethos to forge ahead with new and innovative ideas they invited their members to their first round of Regional Member Meetings. Members were given the opportunity to talk to other members and key Advantia personnel about the challenges and opportunities that are important to them, today in their businesses.
Senior members of the Advantia management team were at the Marketing Industry’s leading UK technology event in London. They were there to make contact with new and exciting marketing technology suppliers and learn about the dynamic rapidly changing arena of on-line, virtual and robotics assisted marketing techniques and applications.
