Advantia member Officeright told us that with the Advantia model their purchase ordering takes about 5 minutes at the end of each day and their goods inwards booking in procedure takes about 5 minutes each morning. Staff are freed up from admin and everyone in their team now focusses on generating sales of profitable products rather than managing low margin office products.
How our partnership with our distributor works is Advantia members process their orders during the day in their backoffice system as they would normally do, then transmit the order automatically via the member portal at the end of each business day. Products that are stocked by our distributor are picked, packed, dispatched and delivered to the end user by OfficeFleet.
Products that are not stocked by our distributor will be delivered by direct delivery from the supplier direct to the customer, but the member and the customer will be aware of this at the time they order either from the Merlin Marketplace e-commerce platform or from the Advantia catalogue.
OfficeFleet is not a courier service
Advantia members benefit from having dedicated OfficeFleet vehicles with dedicated OfficeFleet drivers delivering direct to members’ customers. Special arrangements such as particular delivery times and special instructions are part of the service. The customer will most likely see the same driver time after time. The service is like having your own fleet and your own drivers but without the overheads and you can deliver any product to any part of the country, next day seamlessly.

- Log a return, organise the collection and the credit, and check the status
